Walts Sugar Shack
Walts Sugar Shack is ready for PEC March Maple Madness 2024! Open every weekend from 10:00am-4:00pm.
Serving a pancake and sausage breakfast (some weekends will feature other menu items - check their Facebook page for updates). Seating is available inside their dining tent, which has lighting and wood stove heating, making it the perfect weekend outing.
The store will be open for you to purchase, baked goods, beef, pork and of course Maple featured products! Free coffee will also be available ☕️
Come on out and join us for another great Maple Celebration! 🍁
*We will be following all Covid Protocols. This is a family friendly event so there is no alcohol/dogs permitted (with the exception of service dogs).

Wagon Rides to the Sugar Bush

Purchase tickets at the restaurant or winery for your wagon ride to our sugar bush and finish with a fresh made Taffy on the Snow!
$10 for the wagon ride & taffy

Stroll up to our sugar shack and see how we turn sap into syrup! Say hi to our farm animals on the way up!
Winery
The winery boutique will be open from 11am-4pm on Saturday & Sunday. Pop in for a wine tasting, and to check out some maple goodies!
Sugarbush Vineyards
Let's welcome back Sugarbush Vineyards
🍁 Every Saturday & Sunday in March between 10:30am - 5pm grab your boots and feel free to walk the 2km trail through their beautiful Vineyard & Sugarbush. *snow may or may not be included .
🍁Play maple trivia while you walk. Bonus, hot chocolate and maple cookies will be available for all walkers at no cost but they are collecting donations (cash or non perishable food items) for the Wellington Food Bank.
*Dogs are welcome.
🍁They will be boiling down sap for fresh syrup and made available for purchase once the season gets going (weather permitting)
🍁Don’t forget to add in a wine tasting and browse their boutique for more local goods.

Justins Maple Syrup
Justin’s Maple Syrup is back for another amazing year of PEC March Maple Madness!
Justin Williams and family have been producing high quality Maple Syrup & products since 2005. Here’s what their inviting us all to enjoy as part of Maple Madness:
🍁Maple Syrup, Maple Butter, Granulated Maple Sugar plus, Maple Sugar Candies (we can’t get enough of them)
🍁 Take a self-guided leisurely walk through their gorgeous Maple woods and visit the sugar house to see how their Maple Syrup is produced.
*Hiking shoes or rubber boots are recommended. 🥾

Pancake Breakfast: We are serving a pancake breakfast every Saturday in March.
•Breakfast includes pancakes, maple baked beans and sausage or bacon with a hot cider, coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
Maple Walk & Talk: A guided walk up to our own Murray’s Sugarbush.
•Learn about the process of extracting the sap from maple trees and turning it into maple syrup – discover this rich history and experience the old-timey wood burning boiler. And a taste test!
•We will end our walk by the bonfire with a hot cider and a maple glazed doughnut.
